The University of St.Gallen and its School of Management (SoM) are seeking candidates for a chaired full professorship in the field of Strategic Management. We are looking for an individual with outstanding international research profile, demonstrated leadership of academic units as well as a willingness and ability to engage with the business community in projects and executive teaching to advance the University of St.Gallen and its research and teaching excellence in the field of Strategic Management. The professor will also become a member of the directorate of the Institute of Management.

This professorship involves teaching Strategic Management courses at the Bachelor, Master or PhD levels. Responsibilities include also research and tutoring of post docs and PhD students, as well as the initialization and management of research, executive education, and company projects. For this professorship, we seek candidates per 1 August 2017 or by mutual agreement. Knowledge of German language is not a must, but the candidate should be prepared to learn it over time.
